Hong Kong China Softball Association is seeking a responsible and motivated person in the following post:-
Sports Executive
(Minimum Salary: HK$ 28,507 per month)
Job Description:
Prepare competition regulations and guidelines for local competitions;
Schedule and organize games fixtures, ensuring all logistical details are covered;
Communicate with teams or schools regarding competition schedules and arrange necessary follow-ups;
Update and maintain competition results and statistics;
Liaise with and assist in the arrangement of umpires and scorers;
Coordinate with local competition committees and technical committees members;
Control and manage the competition budget effectively;
Manage routine reporting and documentation in compliance with LCSD subvention guidelines;
Manage membership registration and updates for members;
Assist in updating HKCSA website and social media platforms;
Provide support for HKCSA events;
Attend meetings of the Executive Council as required and provide administrative support;
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and the Executive Council.
Requirements:
An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent;
A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience is preferred, particularly in the sports industry..
Knowledge of LCSD subvention requirements;
Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities;
Initiative, proactive, self-motivated, and outgoing personality;
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with attention to detail;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with website management, design software, and social media platforms would be beneficial;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua a definite advantage;
Ability to work irregular hours and perform well under pressure;
Required to work on Saturday/Sundays and Public holidays and outdoors.
